This Castle Birthday Cake is a French vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. The outside is covered in rolled fondant. I took half a day off of work and was still up until 2 am finishing it. It is all eatable.
The towers are cake baked in soup cans (two layers tall) with covered ice cream cones on top. The whole cake was so big we had tons of cake left over! Use lots of dowels for support.
