Coolest Castle Birthday Cake

My daughter decided she had to have a princess Castle Birthday Cake for her fourth birthday. I had made a few cakes decorated like her favorite cartoon characters, that she just loved! I Googled cakes for an idea of where to start.

When I found this site I fell in love! I enjoy making cakes and learning new things. I took a few of the tips and applied them in my castle. The one thing I’ve found that I love is the Wilton color mist, saved time by not having to mix colors and matching, if not enough.

Other totally cool product was the Disney Princess desert decals, used them for the windows, Mike and Ike candies for the top round. This was a huge hit with my girls and all the kids enjoyed the look, all the parents couldn’t believe I made it myself.

Cakes are two 13×9. One cut in half, two 8 inch rounds with an 1.5 inch sliver taken off the back end, top is a 6 inch cake topper. Ice cream cones, wafer cookies, sugar decals!
