Simple and Easy Castle Cake with Candies

This castle cake was a last minute idea for my daughter’s 3d birthday. I didn’t have too much time to plan this cake, but it actually was not too difficult, thanks to all the ideas I found here, thank you very much!

I had no previous experience on this so this what I did, I bought 2 boxes of Betty Crocker’s chocolate fudge and baked each in a rectangular shape, I bought also the frosting and dye.

One of the cakes was for the ground and I cut the other in equal squares and stacked them for the castle and “glue” them with caramel.

I used ice cream cones for the towers, dipping them with chocolate and sprinkles. As I didn’t have much time I decided to match the cone’s color with the frosting using the mixture for “toast” color on the dye box (that was luck!).

I put everything together and used M&M’s, mini marshmallows and two pieces of a chocolate for decoration.

I made a lot of mistakes, but I think it turned out very good, my daughter and family loved it!
