I made this 2 tier Cat Birthday Cake for my niece’s 7th birthday. I got the cat from the Dollar store, it was a glass cat. I used suckers to make the yarn balls. Once I stuck the suckers where I wanted them I used my writing tip to make the form of a yarn ball. I streamed the two different colors of yarn balls around the tops of each layer of cake and over the cat.
I made her name out of strawberry chocolate. I used chocolate pick molds and stuck them in the freezer for a bit so they would be hard enough to poke through the cake without breaking. Then I poked a hole with a toothpick where I wanted to place the letters.
The cupcakes had store bought cats on them. The yarn balls on the cupcakes were made from gumballs. Everyone Loved it.
