Homemade Champagne Cake

This is a Champagne Birthday Cake I made for a friend of my husband for his anniversary. This cake is a white cake covered in multicolored Maroon, gray, and white buttercream icing. The bottle, bubbles and glasses were made from the color flow technique. The bubbles were attached to floral wire with melted candy discs' as well as to the bottle.

I had to drive 3.5 hours with this cake to get it to him. It was a surprise for his wife. It was a challenge to get it there but, it was well worth it.
