For male co-worker at work who happens to be nick named “rat” and who us girls affectionaly pick on for his constant “whining” thought the Cheese Wheel Cake would be a perfect birthday cake!
The cake was a Lemon with Orange Jello poke 8″ round cake pans. I made buttercream frosting with lemon flavoring and then colored large amount with orange color gel and smaller amount with the yellow to fill in the “holes” eaten by the mice! The chocolate “church” mice were made from chocolate covered cherries and Hershey’s kisses.
Not only was the cake a big hit to the ended and all the staff, but it had the best flavor, reminding us all of an orange push up icecream treat!
