Cute Homemade Cheeseburger Cake for my Son’s 9th Birthday

I made this Cheeseburger Cake for my son’s 9th birthday. Ever since I made his race car cake when he was 3, he only wants me to make his cakes. He was soooo in love with burgers that he decided that’s the cake that he wanted. So after careful planning and a lot of food coloring and frosting we came up with this.

The cake is yellow cake mix. The pickles are spearmint leaves rolled out flat. I made yellow and red out of food coloring and frosting. That was the ketchup and the cheese. The seeds are sunflower seeds. It is actually a 3 layered cake and the middle layer was made with chocolate frosting. Remember as you are stacking the layers to put the ketchup, cheese and pickles in between so it looks authentic.

You are guaranteed to keep your guest talking about this cake for years.
