Homemade Chewall Tractor Cake from the Movie Cars
This is a Chewall Tractor Cake from the Movie Cars, from the tractor tipping scene. It is a chocolate cake with mocha icing covered in fondant. Painted details were dry brushed on to create a "rusted" effect. The smoke stack is a Tootsie roll and the wheels are Crueller doughnuts dipped in a mixture of melted chocolate chips and corn syrup.
Left over cake crumbs and gummy worms make great worms and dirt for the tractor to rest on! He is definitely the most "character" cake I have made. All the droops and folds really add to his sleepy personality. It was made for twin boys.
