Homemade Chewbacca Birthday Cake

I did this Chewbacca Birthday Cake for a friend of mine and was supposed to be Chewbacca although it ended up being a mixed up breed between Wookie, gorilla and the Yeti. At least it was yummy! And also a little bit scary!

Process:
I used an oval and a rectangular baking pan to do the head and body. Then I cut them in half (horizontally) and filled them with apricot jam. The icing was melted Cadbury chocolate with butter and milk that I poured directly on top (it was quite thick so it slid slowly). Then when it was more or less dry I used some more icing to do the hair.

The eyes were blue smarties and for the mouth I used two teeth-shaped candies. I also used black and white gel to paint the belt and eyes.
