Poppa's Christmas Tree Cake

Upon some prodding, my father shared that for his December birthday his mother always made him a Christmas tree cake. For my version I made a chocolate cake with white chocolate and almond frosting colored green.

I also dyed 2 cups of coconut flake green for the pine branch effect. The rest of the tree is decorated with M&Ms and other various candies.

The presents at the bottom of the tree are brownies frosted and decorated with left-over frosting, dyes, sprinkles, etc.
