Easy Homemade Cinderella Doll Cake

This Cinderella cake used the Disney princess Cinderella doll and Wilton’s doll pan. I covered her lower half and dress in layers of plastic wrap to keep her clean. Because the Disney dolls are taller than a Barbie or other doll, I had to bake 2 cakes.

I baked a standard round cake as well as using the doll form pan. Then I carved the round cake to fit the same diameter as the bottom of the doll form and stacked them. I put some icing in between them for stability. I had to cut a pretty large hole in the doll form to fit Cinderella. If I were to do it again, I would cut it even larger as my cake almost split in 2 as I was jamming the doll in there.

Once the doll and both cakes were in place then I iced her blue. I used white dots of icing to decorate her dress and to cover the plastic wrap that was sticking out the top. The cake was a blueberry pound cake with lemon cream cheese icing.

My 5 year old was delighted!
