Coolest Cinderella Castle Birthday Cake

For my daughter’s 5th birthday, she wanted a cake with Cinderella, the prince, and the glass slipper. I started this Cinderella Castle Birthday Cake by making two half sheet cakes. I used the first as a base for the cake and the second I cut into two 7 x 9 inch squares which I used to make the castle.

The “kit” I found online for the castle actually called for a second “story” to the castle, but I found that it would make the castle too heavy to put on top of the sheet cake, so I left it out. To “dress” it up a little bit, I made the castle pink and used a skewer to score the sides of the castle to make it appear to have a brick façade.

I placed the castle on top of the sheet cake and created the “landscaping” to make it appear that the prince was placing the glass slipper on Cinderella on the walk in front of the castle.
