Homemade Cinderella Castle Birthday Cake
This cake is made entirely out of ice cream. For the molds I used two different ones and they are just your normal sand castles buckets that you would buy to go to the beach. I started the cake about a week in advance and would fill the molds with slightly thawed ice cream and then let it freeze over night. I then dipped the molds in hot water for about 15 seconds and had to use quite a bit of strength to squeeze it out the rest of the way because if you dipped it for to long it would melt.
Once I had it all assembled then I bought edible decorating spray and just spray painted it all blue. I also sprayed blue mini ice cream cones to go on top. To serve the homemade Cinderella castle birthday cake I had all the fixings so people could make banana splits or sundaes. Everybody seemed to enjoy the idea as oppose to the traditional birthday cake.
