My three year old daughter decided that she wanted a Cinderella Birthday party and had already been to Disney before. We decided to see about a princess castle cake.
We did 2 cake mixes and decided on 3 layers for height. My husband really got into it and decided to use piping for the castle towers. We then put cupcakes on top of the piping and cones on top of that. I then put icing on the piping to look like vines.
I decorated with all sorts of fun candies. We used M&M’s, Twizzlers, gumdrops, Starburst to all add fun to the cake and for the kids eyes.
Her eyes were huge when she saw it. It was a lot of work but she loved it and so did the adults. It was so much fun.

This cake was so fun and a labor of LOVE! We started at night after the little ones went to bed and then finished candy touches in the morning. I forgot to take a picture of the last touches…. I also piped green on the vines in the middle. You should see my FUN Fashion cake that I made last year for my 6 year old daughter!
