Coolest Cinderella's Castle Birthday Cake Design

My daughter wanted a Princess party. So I searched and searched for ideas for this Cinderella’s Castle Birthday Cake Design. I started out with making my own Marshmallow fondant for the icing and I colored it pink. I wanted a smooth look to the cake. If you do make your own fondant you need to have it ready to roll out the night before (it takes a lot of kneading). I also made a white colored fondant and cut them into flowers.

The pink roses are artificial flowers that can be bought at a craft store. I was going to make my own turrets with circle cut out cakes staked together..but this did not work. So at the last min. we went to the store and bought the Wilton’s Castle kit. We could not find any purple sprinkles for the cones so we got some white ones and colored the purple. I was also looking for princess figures to put around the cake and I found them at the dollar store.

The cake was a lot of work, but my little princess was more than happy. In my daughter’s words ” Mommy you made my birthday Verrry special.
