Homemade Clock Cake
This clock cake is a simple cake for those who haven't much time or are beginners who can take this idea. This is an almond tarte,(but any cake will do, but always turn it upside down to make the top part flat). I covered it with blue sugar paste, then colured pieces of sugar paste to make the numbers and pointed to 2 o'clock as it was the 2nd birthday.
I rolled another piece of sugar paste to write the name, always making different colours to make contrast. With the remaining pieces I made some shapes like triangles, squares and circles and just stick them all around the cake with a tip of water.
