Homemade Club Penguin Cake
I made this ice cream Club Penguin Cake for my son's 10th birthday. It is made with 2 layers of ice cream sandwiches with his favorite flavor of ice cream and sliced candy bars between the layers and frosted with Cool Whip.
For the igloo, I froze ice cream in a bowl. When it was frozen solid, I unmolded the ice cream and quickly covered with marshmallow fondant that I prepared ahead of time. The lighthouse is a toilet paper roll covered with fondant topped with more fondant and a light from a Lego set.
The lighthouse looks more like a Russian spire than a lighthouse, but the kids didn't notice. I used fondant to make the puffles (this was tedious) and the lake. The penguins are toys, they can be found at Target or ToysRus.
