This Construction Birthday Cake was super easy. Chocolate cake 9×13, chocolate frosting, shredded green coconut, crushed Oreos, 4 chocolate cupcakes (to make the cliff the excavation is digging into), and toy construction vehicles.
I made the cake and cupcakes then froze them. My husband came up with the idea for the cliff. He took 4 cupcakes and cut them into blocks. I put the icing on top to stick them together and put the coconut all over for grass. And then we piled up the crushed Oreos make dirt. Everyone loved it!
