Cool Homemade 2D Chef Cookie Monster Birthday Cake

For this Cookie Monster Birthday Cake I baked Betty Crocker cake mix in a Cookie Monster shaped cake pan and a sheet pan. I let both cakes cool.

Then, I decorated the sheet pan with green butter cream frosting. Then I flipped the Cookie Monster cake onto the sheet cake. I outlined Cookie Monster and filled in his mouth with black butter cream frosting and a small circle tip and then smoothed it out.

Then, I filled the Cookie with brown butter cream frosting and smoothed it out with a spatula. After, I used the star tip and filled in Cookie Monster’s body and hat (I also made a pink border with the star tip). Then I filled in the whites of Cookie Monster’s eyes and the pupils, and then added chocolate chips to the cookie, and wrote “Mmmmmmmmmm… Cookies!” with a small circle tip. I hope this cake looks as yummy as it tasted!
