I had made this crazy circus cake for my daughter’s 2nd birthday themed as circus. This was my first stacked cake EVER ! I was so proud of myself and the feedback I received from everyone at the party and online just made the experience awesome The way I began my cake was with the cake mix and separating into bowls for it to be dyed to give a rainbow effect, then pouring one by one in each cake pan then cooking.
Next was the stacking and decorating with icing, fondant animals, stripes and circles. The topper is simply a rainbow wheel lollipop with a huge number “3” and a gift bag spiral ribbon. The hardest part of all to me was the fondant animals but in the end it turned out wonderful and was worth it all in the end. I absolutely loved this cake and so did all of our guests ! Enjoy.
