Diego Cake
I made this Diego cake for my son and nephews 2nd birthday, there only 3 weeks apart. I didn't want to do just a simple Diego pan cake so I got brain storming.
I made 2-9" cakes for the "grassland" (part that Diego is on), 2-8" cake for the side cakes and 1-6' cake cut in half. One for the top on the safari and the other as the ice slide on the snow side.
I trimmed the cake so it would fit snug against the middle one. I used a whipped icing (icing sugar, sour cream and whipped cream) for the whole cake just added color when needed. I purchased all the animals and other decorations from my local dollar store.
It was a huge hit!
