Homemade Dinosaur Cake

This dinosaur cake is from family fun.is really a dragon named fire breather. I tried to make head smaller to look more like a dino. Freeze cake and do a crumb coat. Try to bake cake same color as frosting to cut down on crumbs. Final coat doesn't have to be perfect because your going to make scales with a small round cookie cutter.

I sprayed the scales with yellow can air brush. My niece wanted a dino and I have done this before as a dragon. I used red M&Ms as toe nails. Some of the choc grahams will break so start with a whole pack. I do all the work the day before party as this one can be a little tricky and stressful but results are so worth it!

Add cookies and candy before party. My niece loved it. This is my favorite cake to make.
