Homemade Dora Birthday Cake

For my daughter's 3rd birthday, we did this Dora birthday cake since it was her favorite character at the time. I found the 18 doll at Kmart and we baked the cake in a bowl and then cut out a section of the side of the cake, bent the doll in half, placed her inside the cake, trimmed the bottom off of the piece of cake that had been removed, and placed it back on top of her legs.

We then decorated the cake and Dora's upper torso and there you have it. She was so excited about her cake and still to this day remembers that Mommy and Auntie made it just for her!
