Homemade Dora Birthday Cake Idea
I made this Dora Birthday Cake Idea for my grand daughters 3rd birthday. I used Wilton's shaped pan, Wilton' decorator icing, tinted the icing with Wilton's colored gels and just followed the directions. Wilton's cake release is a MUST.
This cake has about 12 different colors, some you only need literally 3 or 4 stars out of. It is A LOT of steps.
The copper skin color they recommended gets darker as it sets, less is more with the copper coloring. Also the #3 tip is used with every single color so you will need to have several #3 tips on hand or a lot of tip switching.
