Homemade Dora The Explorer Cake
I made this Dora The Explorer Cake for my husband's granddaughter. It's all edible except for Dora and Boots. The lake and river is made of blueberry jello, Dora's house is made of graham cookies, the tree is an upside down cupcake with a pretzel and the bridge is made of pretzel also, the road is just brown sugar.
I used two 9x13 pan, one of them cut in half and placed on top of the other 9x13 to give the illusion of a mountain were Dora's house is. The other half is connected to the bridge. I used wire to support the bridge, and plastic wrap to hold the jello (river part) and a clear florist plate to make the jello lake.
