Homemade Dora The Explorer Cake

I made this Dora the Explorer cake for my daughter's 4th birthday. My daughter and son had a Dora and Diego birthday party.

I started by getting a pattern of Dora and enlarged it. I then used it like a stencil and cut her face out of the cake. I did all the details by hand. Here hair was brown frosting; her skin was brown Wilton's icing color mixed with white frosting.

It was a pretty easy cake I would have to say.
