Homemade Dorothy the Dinasour Birthday Cake
My little boy just loves the Wiggles, and I got the idea from this website to make him a Dorothy the Dinasour Birthday Cake for his 2nd birthday.
I just photocopied a Dorothy from a Wiggles colouring-in book to get the required size for my template. I made two cakes large enough for the template. The body is green frosting and I used white fondant icing that you buy at the supermarket and roll out for the white hat, hands, teeth and yellow dots. I just dabbed the white icing with some yellow colouring to turn the dots yellow.
I used black licorice for the outlining and black jelly bean cut in half for her eyes.
