Homemade Dragon Birthday Cake Design
This Homemade Dragon Birthday Cake Design was actually a lot simpler than it looks! And wasn't very time consuming either! I started with 2 10" round cakes. I cut one in half and put side by side for the body, and the other I cut into different shaped pieces for the feet, tail, neck and head. I iced with buttercream tinted royal blue with a star tip and piped on.
I made the wings, ears, spikes along the back, face features, and horns out of fondant. Then put some edible glitter gel on the wings and ears. Also sprayed along the back and tail, and the sides of the legs with black airbrush cake spray.
It was my first dragon cake I've ever done and I think it turned out great! The lady who ordered it loved it!
