Homemade Duck Cake Idea
I downloaded a duck from my clip art, enlarged it and made a paper cut out. My grandson has a Magpie duck and from a photo of it, I tried to make my Duck Cake Idea look like it. I baked a 9 X 13 cake, and after it had cooled, I placed the paper cut-out on it. Then I cut the cake out, and made icing, with four colors: blue, black, white, and orange. I used a brown M&M for the eye. I cut the left over cake pieces in half so they weren't as high as the duck. I placed them around the duck and covered them with blue icing to resemble water.
My grandson enjoyed the cake and everyone thought it looked just like his duck Maggie!
