Homemade Easy Miffy Cake
I made this Easy Miffy Cake for my daughter's first birthday since she loves Miffy the bunny from the show "Miffy and friends". I made a classic yellow, sour cream based cake with an eight inch round pan and ten cupcakes. The round cake makes up the head of course and I placed the cupcakes five on each side of the head to shape the ears.
Then I made cream cheese frosting which has a nice white color so that was perfect for Miffy's fur and I iced the cake and cupcakes. I made sure to set aside a small amount of the frosting and used food coloring to mix up a blackish/brown color for the eyes and mouth which I shaped using a cake decorating bag with a large tip at the end.
The cake was a big hit and wasn't much trouble at all. It's supposed to be Miffy but works as any rabbit really.
