Homemade Elmo Birthday Cake

I wanted to create an Elmo Birthday Cake for my son for his second birthday. I had seen the Elmo cake pans, but wanted to do something different, so I made a confetti sheet cake and drew a picture of Elmo on the top of it.

I think it turned out pretty good for my first and only attempt. My tip would be to make the cake the day before and keep it in the fridge so it is nice and cold for when you are ready to frost it.
