Homemade Faerie Land Cake
I made this Faerie Land Cake for my beautiful little 6 yr old in November for her 6th birthday. She had a faerie themed party and I used all my games and whatnot from this site. The doll part of the cake was the last faerie doll I could find in town, and I used the background from the box to form the background for the faerie.
Because the wings on the doll were rather droopy, I cut out cardboard in the shape of the wings and taped them on, drawing on the back of the cardboard to make it look fancier. I made a 3 layer cake, each layer smaller than the other, and then I decorated the skirt part of the cake in a similar pattern to the skirt that was on the doll itself.
The girls at the party loved it and the most important of all was that my little girl loved it.
