Homemade Fairy Toadstool Birthday Cake

This Fairy Toadstool Birthday Cake is from Debbie Brown's "50 Easy Party Cakes" book.

It starts from 2 x 1 liter bowl cakes. Basically you put one bowl upside down on top of the other bowl, trimming to the desired shape. Buttercream, then rolled icing is used to decorate. Little fairies are made out of the rolled icing with silvery thread for wings. Biscuit cutters are used for the circles. I also used edible glitter on it but is hard to see in the photo.

Jovi loved her fairy cake!

This didn't provide me with any information on how to make a mushroom cake like that one.
