Coolest Fifty Shades of Grey Book Cake

This Fifty Shades of Grey book cake was for a friend’s birthday. It was very easy to make and is the front cover of the book.

It’s a basic oblong Victoria sandwich cut to size and filled and crumb coated with lemon butter cream. The outer layer is colored fondant and the tie is also fondant onto which I painted a design using edible food coloring.
