Homemade First Birthday Cake

I made this cake for my son's first birthday.

I used a rainbow bit cake mix and fondant. I first made a cake out of the number 1 cake pan and covered it in fondant. I then cut circles and frogs out of the fondant with cookie cutters. Next, I made a large slab cake and covered that with fondant and put little fondant balls all the way around.

I then placed the first cake onto the slab cake, putting little fondant balls around that as well. I cut the letters out with a utility knife.

I was really happy with how the cake turned out and and pretty sure my son liked it too.
