Fish Bowl Cake

I saw this Fish bowl cake on this site and loved it so much I changed my sons theme from race cars to Under the Sea.

I used boxed cake mixes and canned icing. I baked the cake the day before the party and assembled and decorated the cake the day of. I also hot glued three fish with fishing line in an upside bowl and baked fish and dolphin shaped sugar cookies the day before.

Between the bottom 2 tiers and the fish bowl is a round piece of cardboard to keep the bowl steady. Also on top the bowl is another round piece. I iced the cake and while the icing was still wet I stuck all the decorations and candy rocks on.

I had a blast making the cake and every one really loved it. Have fun!
