Flip Flop Cake
My daughter wanted to have a flip flop 9th birthday party. It was summer and everyone wears flip flops, so I made 2 pairs of flip flops cakes out of loaf pans, one pair is vanilla and the other pair is chocolate, both decorated with buttercream frosting.
The straps were made of 2 colored twisted licorice pieces and just stuck into the cake with toothpicks. The decorations are jumbo confetti sprinkles. I crushed some graham crackers on the cake board to look like sand.
