Homemade Flower Pot with Ladybug Cake
For this Flower Pot with Ladybug Cake I used a confetti box mix. I used yellow cupcake liners and vanilla frosting (some dyed yellow) for the flowers. I used a Wilton 103 rose tip to do the cupcakes. I found a small flower pot and made chocolate rice krispie treats to go in the bottom of it for the dirt. I used five skewers to hold the cupcakes and ladybug.
The lady bug was made with a bug pan I had. I gave the rest of the bug cakes to my daycare kids to decorate. I stuck little plastic strings of gold pearls in the ladybug for the antenna The ladybug was frosted with vanilla frosting dyed red, and fudge frosting for the black areas.
I made this little creation for my cousin's 25th birthday.
