Homemade Football Pitch Birthday Cake

I had lots of practice trying to make cakes just so I could make my 3 year old little boy a great cake. It took lots of practice and lots of disasters but in the end this is how my Football Pitch Birthday Cake turned out. I was very happy with the end result as I had no idea how do bake a cake a few months ago and now I'm making lots of cakes for family and friends special occasions. Just takes practice.

This cake meant a lot to me as I set myself a task and that was to make my little boy's birthday cake myself and here it is and I hope everyone likes it. Practice makes perfect and hopefully I will be even better on his next birthday.

I am planning to copy you and do one for my boy's birthday this coming Saturday but dont know where to buy the miniature footballers from...any hint please. hi thanks for your message i don't know if you have one next to you but i got my little men and nets from hobby craft that's the best place to go for things you cant find,its not very cheap tho but its good.i hope your cake turns out well and im sure your little boy will be proud of his mummy to x
