Coolest Forbidden Forest Harry Potter Cake

My son’s favorite movie is Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. His favorite scenes in the movie has the flying car in them. So, I decided the easiest cake idea is to bake a chocolate sheet cake. I made chocolate buttercream icing to create the darkness of the forest. I added trees made from brown pipe cleaners.

For each tree, you can take four long pipe cleaners, twist them together, bend them in half, then twist again to hold the tree shape. The eight ends are pulled different directions to look like branches.

I used many Halloween spider rings hanging from the trees and scattered everywhere. There are candy maple nuts used as rocks. And the car I found that looks similar to their flying car.

His Forbidden Forest Harry Potter Cake was a huge success.
