Cool Homemade Frankenstein Cake

I made this Frankenstein Cake for my sister in-laws Halloween party, everyone enjoyed it very much. I started with stacking four round chocolate cakes. Then I did a crumb coat on all four layers. Cooled cake in fridge. Then I iced them green, except the top portion of the head. Used chocolate writing pen to put stitches on Frankenstein’s face. Used facial pieces (eyes, nose, mouth) as well as bolts in neck, from a pumpkin kit purchased from dollar store.

For the hair, I used black sugar bought from cake store, and used spooky rings placed in Oreo crumbs to decorate cake board. If you’re going to do this design, I recommend using five or six layers for a larger face surface. Hope you enjoy making this cake.
