Homemade Frog Birthday Cake

I was inspired for this frog birthday cake by a pin I had found online. I used the shape of the pin as the overall idea for his body. I baked two cake pans one 9x10 and another 8x8. I butted the two cakes together smaller at the top and centered them.

I then traced with a knife the body and cut it out. I frosted the entire cake with buttercream and then used a star tip for the rest and a piped the details in. The fly was made with fondant and food coloring.
