Homemade Garden Party Cake
This Garden Party Cake is a 10-8-6 inch yellow cake iced with green tinted buttercream icing. All of the flowers, bow, lady bugs and bees are made with fondant. The open flowers were shaped by letting dry on an upside down shotglass.
The bees and lady bugs were painted with black paste food coloring. The butterflies are picks. The sign with the babies name on it was written on with a food writer pen. The bow was dried and shaped by using a paper towel roll that I cut into. Then I covered it with parchment paper so the bow would slide off easily. I took a toothpick and made the leaves look more real like.
