Homemade Giant Cupcake Cake
I made this Giant Cupcake cake for my 13th birhtday party over the summer.
I started by purchasing a Wilton cupcake pan and baked the cake in that. The flavor of the cake was funfetti. I let the cake cool and the next day I frosted the cake, one half at a time; the bottom was frosted and colored with a light purple tinted fondant and then the top, having been attached to the base, was frosted with pink vanilla frosting.
I piped the words "Happy 13th Birthday!" on the top of the cake with purple frosting. The little circles were made from tinted fondant that I had dyed using different food colorings.
I hope everyone enjoys making this cake. The total time taken to make this cake was about three hours.
