Homemade Glamour Birthday Cake Idea
My daughter made this Glamour Birthday Cake Idea for a little girl's "make-up" birthday party. Her favorite colors are pink and purple - surprise - and her party theme is make-up, hair and fashion show (complete with red carpet). I think she did a beautiful job with the cake and I know first hand that her cakes taste as good as they look!
My daughter didn't like working with fondant at first but I think it's a favorite now; besides looking good, it helps to hold the cake in place when you have odd shapes.
I really enjoy watching her creations unfold because most of the time it's created as she goes. She's never had any classes and many of her cakes are just amazing!
