Golf Course Cake

I made this golf course cake for a dear friend & co-worked. The golf ball is made from the "sports ball" pan and covered with butter cream icing; the indentations were made with a wooden dowel rod. The sand bunkers are made with "raw sugar." There are a couple golf tees and golf balls (located in the sand bunker), which are made from fondant icing. Everything else is covered in butter cream icing with the exception of a couple silk flowers and trees.

Everyone loved the cake and Patrick (my dear friend) was surprised, he had a great birthday and enjoyed sharing his cake with all.
