Homemade Gravedigger Monster Truck Cake

Homemade Gravedigger Monster Truck Cake

This Gravedigger Monster Truck cake was a little tricky! I baked four loaf yellow cakes. I used a six pack of Krispy Kreme glazed donuts. I cut two of the donuts in half and placed on the cake pan. I piped on white vanilla icing. This gave the monster truck a "lifted" effect.

I used four donuts for the tires (held together with toothpicks) and piped icing on for decoration. I placed two of the loaf cakes together for the hood and body. I used one for the cab and carved the fourth cake for the hood scoop. I used Wilton's Black, Green & Red Concentrated paste to color store bought vanilla icing.

This was a fun cake to build and decorate!
