I made this Guitar Birthday Cake for my brother’s birthday. I used Marshmallow fondant and tinted it blue. Kept a portion of it white for the strings, tinted a portion black for the middle.
The fondant was really easy to work with. Much easier than regular frosting. I just rolled it out thin and had my husband help me lift it and place on cake. The cake was made from a mold. Then just cut around and smoothed it out.

I love this cake! My 2 year old son loves guitars, and this gives me some ideas for his 3rd birthday in November. I’ve been curious about working with fondant, and this will give me an opportunity to try it.
