Homemade Guitar Cake

For this guitar cake I used a regular sheet cake and two loaf pans. I put them all together end to end. I used a cardboard template I made and cut the cake in the shape needed. I layered it in white homemade buttercream then in white homemade fondant.

I sprayed edible paint on the guitar. I brushed on the brown color to make it look like wood grain. All the knobs and turn keys are made of fondant. The only thing not edible on this cake are the strings and the beads used to hold them at the top. The strings are made of a crafting string. As for the name, I made and cut a template out, placed it on the cake and sprayed edible paint on it.

Since this was for an ACDC guitar theme I made the letters have a similar theme.
