Homemade Guitar Cake

We had a music themed party for my three year old daughter who loves to perform by singing and "playing" a guitar. Crafts included making shakers by filling water bottles with rice using a funnel, stringing bells on pipe cleaners, and making people maracas (yarn for hair, glue on eyes).

We played musical chairs, freeze dance, and sang songs into microphones bought at a dollar store. We also had a pinata shaped like a guitar. The guitar cake was made with a Wilton guitar cake pan and followed the directions to decorate the cake.
